Select the object or objects to be resized. Then hold the Ctrl key down and move the mouse so that it is over one of the small squares at the corners of the selecting rectangle. The cursor will change appearance to look like a two-headed arrow. Click the left mouse button down and drag the mouse. When the objects have reached their desired size, release the left mouse button.
