Following is the River Coefficients dialog box:

Following is a description of the parameters associated with Physical Data. To save the changes made when closing this dialog, click OK. To ignore changes, click Cancel.

The name can be changed by clicking in the box next to Name and entering the new name. The river segment’s internal ID number is shown next to Stream ID: but can not be changed.
Upstream is the elevation of the upstream end of the river segment. (m above mean sea level)
Downstream is the elevation of the downstream end of the river segment. (m above mean sea level)
Length is the length of the river segment. (>0, m)
Use scale to calculate calculates the length of the river using the Map’s scale.
Initial Depth is the initial depth of the river segment. (>0, m)
Impoundment Area is the combined surface area of impoundments in the river segment (>=0, m2)
Impoundment Volume is the combined volume of impoundments in the river segment (>=0, m3)
Manning’s n is the Manning’s roughness coefficient. (0.02 – 0.045, empirical units)

When the Apply Changes To Selected Rivers button is checked, changes made to the coefficients of the river being edited will be made to all selected rivers. When the Apply Changes To All Rivers button is checked, changes made to the coefficients of the river being edited will be made to all the rivers within the WARMF project.
