Overall satisfaction of the stakeholders with the proposed management scenarios can be evaluated using this function, which is part of the Pros and Cons function. When each stakeholder entered how well each scenario met their concerns, an overall satisfaction score for each scenario was calculated.
The nominal scores function summarizes the stakeholders’ overall scores for all scenarios. The scores for each scenario are compared for each stakeholder to find out each stakeholder’s first choice, second choice, etc. The nominal scores spreadsheet then shows, for all stakeholders and for each stakeholder type, the percentage of stakeholders choosing each scenario in their top 1, 2, 3, etc.
This function can be used to look for consensus on a particular scenario, eliminate unpopular scenarios, or determine if certain stakeholders’ concerns are not being addressed by a scenario.
