This function assigns meteorology files to catchments and reservoir segments. Use the Data Module to prepare the meteorology files, ensuring that the correct latitude and longitude coordinates are set. Then use this function and select all the files which are applicable to the watershed. Each catchment and reservoir segment is assigned the nearest meteorology station. Precipitation weighting factors and temperature lapses are then set relative to the assigned station. Average temperatures and precipitation from the assigned station and neighboring stations are used with a weighted average inversely proportional to the distance between each of the stations and the center of the catchment / reservoir segment.
