Within the Data Module, the file menu performs functions distinct from the other modules. Following are the file management functions unique to the data module:
File / New creates a new data file of the type shown in the box next to Type of data and opens it for display and editing. It is added to the list of file names and remains available until the Data Module is exited. If the file is used within the Engineering Module, it is automatically added to the list of files for the given type of data.
File / Open opens an existing data file of the type shown in the box next to Type of data for display and editing. It is added to the list of file names and remains available until the Data Module is exited. If the file is used within the Engineering Module, it is automatically added to the list of files for the given type of data.
File / Import can be used to import meteorology and observed hydrology data into the WARMF project. To import observed hydrology data, select observed hydrology in the box next to Type of data and select the file to import. To import meteorology data, select meteorology in the box next to Type of data and select the file to import.
File / Save saves the currently displayed data file. This function is disabled if the file has not been changed.
File / Save As saves the currently displayed data file with a new name. The new file is added to the list of available files. If the file is used within the Engineering Module, it is automatically added to the list of files for the given type of data.
File / Copy creates a copy of the currently displayed data file with a new name. The new file is added to the list of available files. If the file is used within the Engineering Module, it is automatically added to the list of files for the given type of data.
File / Remove removes pictures/videos from the list of pictures.
