Reservoir Coefficients : Meteorology

This is the appearance of the Meteorology tab of the Reservoir Coefficients dialog:

Following is a description of the parameters associated with Meteorology. Refer to the main Reservoir Coefficients page for information on other categories of coefficients. To save the changes made when closing this dialog, click OK. To ignore changes, click Cancel.

Meteorological File is the source of meteorology data used for this reservoir. Click on the Select button to choose a meteorological file.
Precipitation weighting factor is a multiplier applied to the precipitation in the meteorological file to account for local variations in precipitation amount from orographic effects. It applies to each segment in a multiple segment simulation or to the whole reservoir in a single-segment simulation. (varies from 1, unitless)
Temperature Lapse is the amount subtracted from the temperature in the meteorological file to account for local variations in temperature from orographic effects. A positive value indicates that the reservoir is cooler than its meteorological station. It applies to each segment in a multiple segment simulation or to the whole reservoir in a single-segment simulation. (varies from 0, degrees C)
Wind Speed Factor is a wind speed amplification factor for reservoirs. It applies to each segment in a multiple segment simulation or to the whole reservoir in a single-segment simulation. (1.0 – 1.2)
General or Rain and Fine Particle Air Chemistry File is the source of air and rain chemistry data used for this catchment. Click on the Select button to choose a air/rain chemistry file for the catchment.
Coarse Particle Air Chemistry File (optional) is the source of coarse particle air chemistry data (optional). Click on the Select button to choose a file for the catchment.

When the Apply Changes To Selected button is checked, changes made to the coefficients of the reservoir segment being edited will be made to all selected reservoir segments. When the Apply Changes To All button is checked, changes made to the coefficients of the reservoir segment being edited will be made to all reservoir segments.
