Evaporation Magnitude is the scaling factor for evaporation. (0.6 – 1.4, unitless)
Evaporation Skewness is the degree of variation of evaporation between the seasons. (0.6 – 1.4, unitless)
Soil Thermal Convection Factor is the rate at which the soil temperature equilibrates with the atmosphere. (normally 0.0003 cm/s)
Snow Thermal Convection Factor is the rate at which the soil surface temperature equilibrates with the atmosphere through a snowpack. (0 – 0.0003 cm/s)
Ice Thermal Convection Factor is the rate of heat transfer through lake ice cover. (normally 0.005 cal / cm / s / degree C)
Sediment Shading is the sediment shading multiplier for calculating an extinction coefficient (normally 0.052)
Algae Shading is the algae shading mulitplier for calculating an extinction coefficient (normally 0.031)
Detritus Shading is the detritus shading multiplier for calculating an extinction coefficient (normally 0.174)
