This is the appearance of the Sediment tab of the System Coefficients dialog:
Following is a description of the parameters associated with Sediment. Refer to the main System Coefficients page for information on other categories of coefficients. To save the changes made when closing this dialog, click OK. To ignore changes, click Cancel.
Each type of sediment has its own coefficients. Following is a description of the parameters listed under Sediment Types:
Size is the representative particle diameter (0.001 – 1.0 mm)
Specific Gravity is the ratio of particle density to the density of water (normally 2.65, unitless)
Settling Velocity is the particle settling velocity in quiescent water (0.0 – 1.0 mm / s)
