Following is the appearance of the Diversions tab of the River Coefficients dialog:
Following is a description of the parameters associated with Diversions. Refer to the main River Coefficients page for information on other categories of coefficients. To save the changes made when closing this dialog, click OK. To ignore changes, click Cancel.
When Diversions is clicked, there are two lists of file names, one for Diversions From (water removed from the river segment for water supply, irrigation, etc.) and the other for Diversions To (if the river segment receives water diverted from another river or reservoir segment). To add a file to either list, click on the corresponding Add button and select the file to add. To remove a file from a list, click on it and click the corresponding Remove button. If a river segment has water diverted to it, but some of the water in the .FLO file is allocated to irrigation, only the remainder will reach this river.
Specify a Minimum River Flow, if the possibility exists that the quantity of water diverted will be greater than the total river discharge at any point. The WARMF simulation may crash if the river dries up completely and cannot fulfill the river withdrawal demands.
When the Apply Changes To Selected Rivers button is checked, changes made to the coefficients of the river being edited will be made to all selected rivers. When the Apply Changes To All Rivers button is checked, changes made to the coefficients of the river being edited will be made to all rivers.
